Foreigners Views on Thai Girls & the Thai Culture

I came across an interesting site when I was conducting a small-scale research project on prostitution in Thailand. The site, run by a foreigner, elicits submissions from tourists and residents from around the world, who have experienced Thailand in many ways. The stories, however, tend to center around bargirls and sexual experiences or relationships with Thai girls.  People would often, then, make generalized statements about Thais and their cultures. Some are facts, but others are unfair accusations based on the lack of cultural understanding. I invited Thais to reflect on these foreign views and use them as a mirror so that the ugly faces of the Thai society can be seen and, hopefully, fixed.

I am putting the links below, but the original site can be found at the URL given at the end.
