I spent more than two years in Sydney and a couple months in Melbourne and loved the Aussie ways! People seemed more laid-back there, and I did not experience any racist glimpse. Sydney, in particular, was and still is very multicultural and peaceful. The violence in a small town south of Sydney, called Cronulla, struck me as a shocking development.
